May 6 - Return from West Coast activities, dinner and a movie,gay flattery, sunny manhattan roof top.

May 7 - Feels like fall, lower and upper manhattan apartment searchers, though not for me, and a Murakami book.

May 10 - I officially gradaute from NYU with a Master's Degree.  Ha.  A sort of evening celebration.  The WPA rocks out, thoughts on a book and my grandmother.

May 13 - Quick thought on music critics, futile job search turns into futile apartment search, walking around with Rodzilla, an upper west side party, then a bar fight.

May 16 - Trying to get something going.  Two new cd purchases- weezer and bonnie prince billy.

May 20 - Hanging out with some out-of-town friends of James, in Manhttan one and in Williamsburg, for a show by James.

May 22 - Visited a modeling agency out of curiousity, quick chat with Nora, and dowloaded music.

May 25 - Yet more (lack of) job anxieties, two years since Underpants Cowboy.  and a picture.

May 28 - A traumatic visit from the parents, then to Great Lakes where that creepy Asian guy won't leave me alone.  A movie, a roof, a party.

May 29 - An exhaustive account of my morning routine. Then saw Pearl Harbor.  And a package of books arrive mysteriously in the mail.

May 30 - I audition to be a Kaplan instructor, and am far too nervous about it.

May 31 - A lot of career, school, socializing, and excercise, sandwiched between conversations with Nora.
