August 27, 2002. MondayToday, when getting ready for work, I really got ready for work. I should say I got ready to go to work, really, because I knew I wouldn't actually do any work. So far, pressing "ctrl-I" to italicize those words is about as much as I've taxed myself today. Anyway, in preparation for another hard day of not working at work, I brought a DVD with me. So I just finished watching Sleepy Hollow. It was quite good. It took me quite a while to watch it though, partly because I had to pretend to be doing something for a while and partly because I'm obsessive complusive and i need every word of dialogue to register in my brain. I hate that. Tomorrow I will watch Best In Show, which I got for Christmas but still have never seen. I don't know why I didn't start doing this sooner. At the same time, my spirits have been completely drained by this extreme inactivity. And for some reason, I've woken up exhausted for the last few days. As usual, I assume I've been kidnapped by aliens while I slept.
Besides that, all I've really done today was to write Jenny G in DC a long email detailing my last few days. She hurt her back or something. Not sure, but she can't type due to the pain. Or just doesn't want to.
Hilarity abounds.
