    The most noteworthy activity of the day was a big haircut in the early afternoon.  Everything after that is pretty much a blur.  A boring blur.  I got some photos enlarged, a watched some tv, and then I went into the city, had coffee and met Caryn.  We walked over to San Loco so she could get some eats before she started her fast for Yom Kippur.  Then off to my night time tv-watching job.  Tonight's show was The Amazing Race on CBS.  It was entertaining I suppose.  It was tough to come up with trivia questions.  Tonight's episode took place in Paris.  Having spent about 48 hours there a year and a half ago, I was somewhat interested in the landmarks they visited, most of which I'd seen.

    And now I'm watching Can't Buy Me Love on TBS.  A wonderful movie.  One of my old favorites.  Great flick.  If it were made today, the Patrick Dempsey role would be Freddie Prinze Jr. in glasses.  I liked when geeky guys in movies looked like geeky guys.  Ah, and I just discovered a young Seth Green playing Patrick Dempsey's younger brother.   I'd always wondered what happened to Amanda Peterson, who played Cindy Mancini in the movie.  She just sort of disappeared.  After some difficult searching, I found something that said she's back in Colorado, and for the last few years has been a tour guide at the Budweiser plant.  And is dating an NFL player.  That seems sort of odd.  And there's a lot of Can't Buy Me Love fanatics out there.  Anyway, that seemed interesting.

    And that's pretty much been my day.
