Daily Aggravations and Regrets
and various random thoughts

June 5th, 2001.  Tuesday

I don't really feel like writing anything tonight. Well, actually, i do, but not this.  And I'm too tired to work on what I want to work on anyway.  So instead, here're a few random pictures I scanned before I returned my piece of shit printer/fax/scanner/copier.  Don't but Canon multi-purpose machines.

This is one of four pictures taken the night of May 18th, described in the May 20th entry.  The girl on the left is James's friend Marta.  In the middle is her friend Maria.  And in on the right is their new acquaintance, me.  We were supposed to have a theme for each shot- pouty, angry, sexy, and mysterious.  This is the "angry" one. I think I mentioned before that my expression in this one is disturbingly similar to the "sexy" shot.

Me, in a portrait taken by Jed on my birthday.  I always get a good closeup shot of myself on my birthday.  I don't think I look a day over 24.

Me and Rachel, outside the 12th Street Bar off 8th Ave.  This was the night before she moved back to Ohio.

Jed and Rachel, in the 12th Street Bar.  If you look closely, you can see the little mustache Rachel drew on Jed.  It was a hoot.

Speaking of mustaches, I should mention that right now, Jed is actually growing a real mustache.  He's been at it for about ten days now, and it's filling in nicely.  His plan is to shock and appall his mother when he goes home for his sister's wedding in July.  Personally, I think it's looks really fucking cool.

While I'm uploading pictures and whatnot, here's a little movie Matt and I made on Saturday.  We just shot a bunch of footage, than ran it in reverse.  The movie here is us appearing to jump onto a fire hydrant with incredible skill and balance.  And I threw in a little sound effect for good measure.  I'm glad I'm finally taking advantage of my G4.  Hopefully, this is just the sort of a lot of movies.  Anyway, the movie is small, so the quality kind of sucks.  But you get the point.  So if you have Quicktime or some other media player, click here.
