Mail to G-RockI don't have much to say about today. Watched a movie. Went into work. Did other stuff.Anyway, instead, here's some musical stuff. I've been having a lot of conversations about music lately. Specifically, Top 5 lists. Very High Fidelity. Anyway, here are some I've discussed (lists in no particular order):
Top 5 Bands I'd See If I Could Go Back In Time:
1. The Pixies
2. The Replacements
3. Jane's Addiction (around 1990)
4. The Velvet Underground (with Nico. Why not.)
5. The Doors- I'm not really a big fan, but I've always thought it'd be a great experienceAlso: I originally included the Beatles, cos I think I just should. But I'd have more fun at the other five I think. though it woulda been nice to see the Beatles, say around 1967.
I also bumped the Grateful Dead. Not a huge fan, but along the same inclination of wanting to see the Doors.
Other's I felt obligated to consider: Led Zep, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and The Beach Boys.A list I made today while sitting in Cafe Pick Me Up in the East Village:
