    I'll be heading down to Washington, DC tomorrow, for a full weekend of family activities.  I don't know how much fun that will be, but I'm glad to be getting out of New York for a few days.  Although when I just wrote that, I was suddenly hit with a bit of anxiety, like I'll be missing something while I'm gone.  Like something important will happen, or something bad that my presence here might have prevented.  I hope that's not the case.

    Things have been sort of crazy and weird and good and bad and I really need to reassess.  And two 4-hour drives will probably help a bit.  We're looking for some sort of peace.
