One Year Ago

It seems like it's been a rather uneventful day.  But I did do stuff today.  I went to class at my professor's apartment.  We had to have a one-page paper about our class as a social world.  Mine kind of sucked.  I didn't talk about anyone else in the class, but other people sure did.  Some were pretty ruthless.  Here's I was described by several people:
"...he has this nonchalance like nobody else I've ever met.  He always fights me for my seat.  Sometimes I think he makes a fuss just to entertain himself.  He never seems impressed by anything."
"And then there's Greg, 'Mr. Whatever.'"
"And then there's the tall Asian. Though he's my age, he seems younger, less comfortable with his place in the class.  Everything he says, he starts with a gusto, then ends in a quiet mumble trail of words."
"Then there's greg, who just seems glad that his turn to speak is over."
"He doesn't seem interested in anything anyone has to say."

and such and such...

Anyway, it was an ok time.  For class, anyhow.

I spoke with Bitchard today.  He found my webpage and emailed me for my number.  He seems well.  he's still in suburban DC.  I actually hadn't spoken with him in about a year.  So that was aight.

To my surprise, PFC Kathy walked into my room around 9:30pm.  I suppose things with Jed have reached the point that she can just drop by unannounced now.  Which is really fine by me.  It just seemed notable.  I like to chart these things.  So we went down to the Donuts Luncheonette on 7th Ave.  Kathy let me peruse her journal a bit.  I think she was somewhat offended when I wouldn't tell her the URL of my online journal.  So I think maybe she's pissed off.  Well, I think it's of the standard girl "i'm saying I'm OK, but I'm really pissed in a more than just passing way, and you'll be paying for this several times in the future" kind of way.  that's the problem with girls. No concept of double jeopardy.  You're always being punished several times for the same crime.

Anyway, I'm catching an early bus home tomorrow, just for the night.  I'll be back in NY by Saturday night.  By the way, I found out that one of the people in my class today is also from Reading, PA. he went to Governor Mifflin High School, which was my high schools main "rival."  So that was weird.  Small world.
