Mail to G-Rock
Well, I have somehow managed to make it through another week. I didn't get everything done that I had to, but somehow all is well.
I can't think of much to write, so here are some words that are in my head right now for no particular reason:punctilious
cogent
craven
alabasterAnyhow, to celebrate making it through the week, I went to Great Lakes with Jed and Jen last night. We stayed pretty late, considering Jed and I both had to work this morning. But it was fun enough to warrant it. I don't remember what we really talked about. I spent a good amount of time zoning out. I do recall talking about all of our "attractiveness scales." Or something like that. We like to rate things I guess. Just from what the three of us encountered, it was decided that Matt has the widest ranging attractiveness scale. Using matt as a template, saying he ranges from a +10 to -10, the rest of us probably range from a +9 to -3. These aren't averages, they're ranges of single occurences. You may be thinking, "Why, what a shallow, dorky conversation to have." Yeah, well, go to hell. I don't know about the rest of them, but I like to know these things, due to my weird vanity/insecurity complex. And by "complex," I of course mean a collection of buildings and structures. this particular "vanity/insecurity complex" is kept under a my bed in a small metal box.
I'm not quite sure what that meant.Say, why don't you check out Matt's picture. Is he hot? ugly beyond belief? or just kind of weird looking? Why don't you drop him a line and give him your frank opinion about his looks? He loves to know these things, and although he'd feign embarrassment or anger, he'd be quite appreciative. Plus, he's available, and he's gonna be a lawyer, for all you nice (and not so nice) young ladies that are lookin' for a man (and he could be gay, if the price is right).
Yo, I don't want no scrub? You want no scrub?
I feeling sort of odd right now. And by "odd," I mean "stupid."I've spent a good amount of time trying to scan some pictures of my france trip, but they came out all weird. By "weird," I mean "bad." I think it was the scanner, because I don't think there's really anything I could've done to make them look like that. Anyhow, here's how it looks. I may re-do this at somepoint, but not for a while. I don't like scanning pictures while other people are in the lab.
Anyway, another jam packed weekend. I still have to interview some people for my ginormous paper that's due on the 13th. But I also have to go see Luna tomorrow at the Bowery Ballroom. And PFC Caryn is scheduled for a Brooklyn visit tomorrow as well. And a buncha other reading. And my brother Geoff is in town.
Anyway, i been doing a lot of reminscing lately. Speaking of that, my entry from exactly one year ago was also largely spent reminiscing. Of course, that could probably be said of 82% of my entries.
